What to Expect

Stepping into an unfamiliar church for the first time can be a little intimidating and maybe even uncomfortable for some people. When you visit CAYA Ministries, you can expect to feel welcomed and accepted - just as you are!  CAYA Ministries is a relevant, friendly and casual church of everyday people from different backgrounds, cultures, ages, denominational experiences and stages of life.

Our services start promptly at 6:00 pm on Saturday evenings. When you arrive, you will be greeted wth a friendly smile and an extended hand of welcome. After service, you are invited to join us for a time of refreshments and fellowship.

Music

The praise and worship music at CAYA Ministries of Rochester is a blend of many styles. You may hear some modern gospel (Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond), contemporary worship (Chris Tomlin, Israel Houghton, Hillsong), original tunes or rearranged hymns put together by our live praise and worship team. Don't worry if you don't know some of the songs as the words are on the screens for you. We want everyone to feel comfortable and worship as you wish. So feel free to sing along, hum, clap, raise your hands, dance, stand, sit, snap your fingers or just enjoy the music.

 Drama

The purpose of the Drama Ministry is to glorify and lift up the name of Jesus and allow God to use us to minister to His people. As we convey the Word of God through dramatic presentations, we are planting seeds to help build disciples to win the world for Christ. We minister through imagery, movement, speech, and music to bring to life real and relevant messages from God. For when God speaks, we act!

 Praise Dancing

The Praise Dance Ministry is instrumental in interpreting the Word through movement with a focus on praise and worship, warfare, deliverance, edification, and healing. This ministry strives to equip men, women and children with the knowledge and understanding of God’s purpose for dance in the worship experience as they fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission using dance as their weapon and/or tool.
