SMALL GROUPS
These are what we call our CAYA GROUPS. They are diverse groups that meet throughout the week allowing attendees to experience both relationship and community.
Small groups typically meet for 1-2 hours either in a church building, library, or in a private home. They may spend time studying the Bible, praying for one another, sharing life experiences, reviewing and discussing a book or a faith-based movie or play, or finding ways to serve our community. And oh, let's not forget that sharing a meal together can be a big part of some of these groups.
Don't worry if you have never been to a small group before or if you had a not so good experience in the past with a small group. Our small groups are welcoming and you will be made to feel comfortable and accepted. You will not be put on the spot and asked to pray or read out loud or to answer theological questions if you don't feel comfortable doing such. Everyone of us is at a different place in our spiritual journey and together we are learning what it looks like to be more like Jesus!
These groups are open to all and are the means that CAYA Ministries offers to help grow and disciple people. If you are interested in joining or sitting in on one or more groups, please let us know and we will do our best to help connect you with the one(s) of your choice.
